Royal and McPherson Theatres Society Privacy Policy

Our Society is committed to protecting a patron's privacy relating to any information collected through tickets sales purchased at our box office regardless of the purchase method.

Nature of personal information collected
Personal information includes, but is not limited to, a person's name, address, telephone number, email address and credit card information.

Uses of this information

1. Processing of financial transactions

The Society may require personal information in order to complete transactions relating to ticket sales, subscription orders, or donations made through our box office.

2. Persons contracting with the Society to use our box office services

Mailing lists are provided upon request to a presenter of any performance that has been sold through our box office. Information provided is name, address, telephone number and email address of ticket purchases to that specific performance. No other related financial, or credit card information is provided. We do not otherwise trade or sell or supply any other third parties personal information collected.

3. Enhanced service to our customers

The Society may use this information to periodically provide improved service to patrons purchasing tickets through providing such information as change in performance dates, cancellation of performances, or notifying patrons of upcoming similar performances.

Storage of information
Personal information is stored in a computerized data base as well as hard copy files. Only authorized Society personnel have access to this information for the purpose of performing their work. The Society maintains appropriate measures to maintain proper security relating to this information.
