Jason F. McLennan: Troublemaker, Architect, Planner...mostly nice guy.
Spend an evening with one of the leading thinkers in the global green building movement today. Victoria 2030 is a provocative look at the state of urban planning, architecture, the environment and community design as society hurtles past 2020 (the year of perfect vision) to the year 2030. This decade may come to be known as the Decade of Acceleration where intersecting trends ranging from technological innovation, climate change, and population collide in profound ways. What does this mean for Victoria as 2030 approaches?
Come prepared to be challenged, informed, entertained and maybe get a bit pissed off…It’s only the fate of the human race at stake!
Considered one of the most influential individuals in the field of architecture and green building movement today, Jason is a highly sought out designer, consultant and global thought leader.
He is the recipient of the prestigious Buckminster Fuller Prize (the planet’s top prize for socially responsible design), has been called the Steve Jobs of the green building industry, and a “World Changer” by GreenBiz magazine, and has been selected as the National Award of Excellence winner for Engineering News Record.
