Public Health Update

With Provincial Health Officer, Dr. Bonnie Henry’s directive banning mass gatherings of more than 50 people, and the requirement of either a successful vaccine, reliable treatment, or community immunity before mass gatherings can resume in phase four of the B.C government’s restart plan, the Royal Theatre and the McPherson Playhouse remain closed for public performances. We continue to monitor public health updates and follow all public health guidelines.

The administration office continues to be open virtually with reduced hours. The admin team can be reached Tuesday to Thursday from 8:30am to 4:30pm by email. Please visit: for contact info.

As of August 4, the Royal Theatre and the McPherson Playhouse Box Office is closed. If you have any ticket related inquiries please email The email will be monitored Tuesday to Thursday from 8:30am to 4:30pm.

The Royal Theatre, McPherson Playhouse and Royal & McPherson Theatres Society (RMTS) Administration Office are currently closed to the public.
